Frequently Asked Questions 1. What is Twilight Music Fest? A FREE outdoor festival event featuring 7 Pro Am bike races, multiple restaurants & food & beverage vendors, 3 live bands along, a kids area plus arts & crafts vendors The festival takes places on King St in front of the Whitfield County Courthouse between Selvidge St. & Pentz St. The kids area will be located in the green space on the corner of W. Waugh St & Selvidge St. 2. When are event hours? 2PM to 9PM 3. Is it free event? Yes, event is free and open to the public 4. Is this event is 21 and up? No, It is an all ages event but must be 21 to drink alcohol 5. How do get there & where do I park? Free parking is available in downtown Dalton in the following areas besides normal designated street parking spaces.
Directions Parking & Festival Map 6. Can I bring in anything? Yes, you can bring chairs & blankets. Tables & chairs for seating are provided throughout the festival. Reserved seating is available in front of the stage. No outside food or beverages are allowed. 7. What type of food & drinks will be there? Big Kev's BBQ - BBQ (smoked pork,chicken,ribs,turkey legs,smoked sausage) along with side offerings of potato chips & salad, cole slaw, baked beans & corn Dalton Depot - Chicken legs, grilled pizza, pressed sandwiches & BBQ shrimp Cool Hawaiian Shaved Ice - Shaved Ice Ken Chase Concessions - Funnel cakes, sno cones, italian ice, curly/ribbon fries & roasted corn on the cob Soft drinks, sports drinks, water and cold beer will available. 8. What will festival have for kids? The festival will have a kid zone with multiple jumpies and other amusements rides that will have a small one time fee for the rides all day. The area will also feature a facepainter & a children tattoo artist who will be charging $4 per peson. 9. Can I bring my dog? Yes, But we ask that you pick up after your pet(s) and to use common sense as to whether bringing your dog would be appropriate, and if your dog would be comfortable. This is a festival with hundreds of people and is typically a very hot day. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. The festival will have free water for pets located at the drink booth at the festival. 10. Will there be ATMs on site? Yes, There is an ATM at BB&T bank on the other side of the parking garage and one at First Bank of Dalton which is located 1 block away fron the festival. 11. How many people will be at Twilight Music Fest? We are expecting around 2500+ people. 12. What roads will be closed for the Twilight Music Fest? Selvidge St between King St & Waugh St. 13. Where are rest rooms located at the Twilight Music Fest? Public rest rooms are located at the The Dalton Depot Restaurant which welcomes guests & is two blocks east of the festival. There will be portable rest rooms and hand washing facilities on Selvidge St just north of King St on the right hand side. 14.
